The IHRC partnered with the Museum of Discovery and Science, located in Fort Lauderdale, and with the Florida Division of Emergency Management, Broward County Emergency Management, the City of Fort Lauderdale Emergency Management and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration for the Eye of the Storm community public education event at the Museum on Saturday, June 4th, 2016. The event showcased hurricane science, mitigation, preparedness and safety and a new Wall of Wind exhibit. Families were educated and entertained throughout the day by special hands-on, interactive activities, demonstrations, live theater shows and hurricane experts. Watch the video here!
